The onus has now been placed upon the employer to ensure that exposure to substances that are hazardous to health is adequately controlled. The risk assessment is the initial point for this process. Local Exhaust Ventilation Testing and Examination (LEV)

In accordance with COSHH engineering control measures are necessary to provide control from airborne substances in the workplace. The most commonly used method is the provision of LEV plant. To ensure that these measures are working in the manner that they were intended a full inspection, examination and test should be carried out by a trained and competent person in accordance with HSE guidance.

Workplace Air Monitoring

Instruction and Training

As such, we provide a comprehensive package to employers which include report presentation to management to enable any areas of interest to be discussed further and training for employees to enable them to further minimise any risks identified.
